PREPARATION FOR BAPTISM AND CHURCH MEMBERSHIP
Baptism is a very important decision that signifies a dying to the past and being raised to live a new life. Biblically it is part of a conversion experience. It is an act of obedience to the command of Christ. Baptism is also part of the act of being part of the body of Christ. This is demonstrated in this church in that normally baptism is closely associated with Church membership. Only those who have been baptised as believers can become members of this church.
Members of the Church are prayed for regularly and are expected to use their gifts in the life of the Church.
We are glad to receive new members into the Church through baptism or by transfer from other Churches. For further details of membership or courses please complete the enclosed form or telephone the School/Church office on 202 8574 4456. The school web site is www.sslmo.co.uk.
