Mission of the Christian International Community
(Southall Baptist Church)
The church is seeking to be a cell church, with five basic principles.
WORSHIP: The fellowship emphasises the need to have a living relationship with God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe that both corporate and individual worship and prayer are of vital importance.
COMMUNITY: We also believe that it is important to develop relationships within the fellowship of this church. We are a body and with Christ as our head we are growing and being built up in love. We are also committed to establish deep relationships with other Churches both locally and in various parts of the world.
TEACHING: We are open to the Holy Spirit. He is able to empower and distribute gifts according to his sovereign will; gifts include a multicultural seeking to prepare God’s people for Christian service.
CARE: We believe that we need to have a loving care for each other and for people in the community around us. We seek to do things that Jesus did and share His caring love for people of all races.
EVANGELISM: We are a based for mission, a door through which Christians come and go to all nations, including our own, with the good news of the Kingdom of God.
